Aurora-AI has participated in the Biometrics Rally 2019 run by the US Department of Homeland Security. The event allowed multiple vendors to assess the quality of their acquisition and matching capability with many different volunteers. Aurora was keen to demonstrate the speed and accuracy of its own systems, as deployed at Heathrow and Manchester Airports.
Due to its use of specialist IR cameras, our Bio-Acquire solution achieved particularly high scores in the acquisition tests. The high-quality greyscale images produced by our cameras can also be used as a basis for matching with our own suite of Face Recognition based products, or third party systems who can integrate using the Bio-Acquire SDK.
